Once upon a time there were some horses, and then one day the little one got lost. And her mom went out looking to find her, but she didn't find her, so she ran out looking at the farm. So she found her at the farm! And she ran away at night with her baby and ran back to the circus. And the baby forgot her toy, and she said, "I forgot my bear toy," and the mommy went down to find it and it was inside the barn where a human was, so she had to stay out of the barn until the farmer left. She had to go inside the barn and hide, and get the baby toy. And then she took it back and they slept with it, and they lived happily ever after.

A story by Nonny and Mamma
Unicorns Fly Over the Village
from R, age 4
Once upon a time there was this unicorn family. They had some eggs, and the first day they hatched. Some unicorns hatched. The grown-up unicorns were so excited that they started to teach them flying early. And then, guess what happened? They fell off the nest, and were almost going to fall in the water where they could not swim.
They flied very high. And then, a bird came, and a bird caught them, and they put her onto Mickey Mouse's big marshmallow from Mickey Mouseketeers. That way they could fly, and they flew so fast, they ran into a tree. And then they twirled and twirled and twirled and fell so hard that they got a giant boo-boo on their back. So when a human found them, she told the grown-up unicorns that they would be back today from the hospital after they got a bandage on their backs. But the smallest one had a big boo-boo on her hoof, so she couldn't walk. They all lived happily together, but poor the little one, she had a hurt foot. What a day for her!
